The World Series Of Poker (WSOPE) finally came to Europe in 2007 and Annette Obrestad was quick to register.
She made her first wsop appearance in the No Limit Holdem event which was a 3 day tournament, and Annette was able to defeat two of the worlds most famous female players; Jennifer Harman and Annie Duke along the way. She started off well and had become one of the top five chip leaders at the end of day one. The next day she made it to the final table, although she had some ups and downs in stack size along the way.
She eventually made the final two, playing heads up against Londoner John Tabatabai, where he was defeated making Annete the youngest ever bracelet winner, and the first winner of the prestigious world series of poker Europe.
